Pirates Cove Adventure Park

Adventure golf, ten pin-bowling, kids karting, bungee trampolining, bumper boats, fun caves, games arcade and the Lagoon café are all on offer at Pirates Cove, Courtown Harbour.The adventure golf is unique within Ireland with its greens, caves, rivers, tropical gardens and Pirates ship. Pirates Cove is also the location for Wexford’s only computerised ten-pin bowling centre. The Fun Caves are designed for three to ten year olds with a play area completely padded for safety. At Pirates Cove, large-scale radio controlled models of trucks, safari cars and pirate ships, which are fully interactive, can be enjoyed by both younger and older children. The bumper boats are fully supervised at all times and life jackets are supplied.

Go aerial trekking 15 metres above the ground, ride the zip wire 210 metres long with a forest landing, scale the climbing wall or jump the leap of faith. How about a go at archery or laser tag? All these exhilarating experiences are on offer at Gravity Xtreme Adventure at Forest Park, County Wexford. With varying levels, the activities are ideal for ages three and up. Archery and laser tag is suitable for ages eight and up. Also on offer is a 25 metre indoor pool, plus two baby pools and a giant slide.Gravity junior is a mini ropes course set 1.8metres off the ground which is suitable for age three to seven and one metre or taller and takes about 20 minutes to complete. Gravity Xtreme takes around two hours to complete and is a great hit with birthday parties, hen/stag parties, corporate days out and family gatherings. A height restriction of 1.3 metres or taller applies and a maximum weight of 120kg.

The award winning Kia-Ora Mini farm is a family run open farm in Gorey, County Wexford. On their day at Kia Ora Mini Farm, the children can hold and feed a variety of live pet animals such as rabbits, poultry, sheep, pot bellied pigs (Bella and Babe), Charlie the donkey, Jack and Jill the alpacas, Larry the llama, Posh and Becks the black swans, Eddie and Betty the emus, Geoffrey the Macaw, and Jessie and Belle the friendly dogs. The shed has a fantastic selection of birds and animals and is indoors so no matter what the weather is like you can come and have fun and see all the cute little animals in the barn such as rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice and rats! There is also a really cool tractor area where the younger children can trundle about and even do a bit of digging in the special digging pit! For the slightly older kids these is a special racing track to race the rough riders on and it is all enclosed so they can race without fear of bumping into anyone small. They can also race to milk the milking cow.

Furnished in the traditional style, with an open fire and adjoining venue for entertainment, you can be sure of an excellent pint of plain. But it doesn't stop there. Sean Ogs have an extremely extensive bar food menu, with everything from bangers and mash to seafood platters, steaks paninis, sandwiches, desserts and a four course meal for €20. There is a big screen TV for sporting events, and the venue also have traditional music on Tuesday nights and music on Saturday nights as well as a kiddies disco on a Monday and Wednesday night during the school holidays. A country pub, full of character in a family friendly modern hotel. Truly the best of both worlds.
Oldbawn Beach Wexford

Green Coast awared beach is sheltered by sand dunnes and has a wide range of wildlife. You can walk along this beach to the adjoining beach of Morriscastle. Old Bawn Beach is on the east coast of County Wexford, 5 Kilometres South East of Ballygarrett village. The Beach is a 3 kilometre section of a long stretch of sandy coastline extending south from Cahore Point and includes part of the Cahore Polders and Dunes National Heritage Area. The Beach has an easterly aspect overlooking the Irish Sea and is bordered on the west by a line of sand dunes.
Irish Seal Sanctuary

Visitors to the Irish Seal Sanctuary can see seal pups in various stages of their rehabilitation from the kennels to the pools. Feeding can be viewed at 4pm daily. Their tours, conducted mainly by both national and international volunteers, offer an informative and interesting journey through wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release of Ireland’s native grey and common seals. Based in Courtown Harbour, County Wexford, the Irish Seal Sanctuary is a marine conservation and education centre with a unique visitor experience suitable for all ages and is family friendly.
